Delivery Assurance Specialist “DAS”.   As a “DAS” you will be working as a vital link between major aerospace production companies and manufacturing vendor shops to track, develop, and implement procedures to improve real time part delivery status.  Applicants must have effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop relationships through “On-Site” visits and substantial volumes of e-mail.  This is an exciting opportunity to join this company at the ground level and grow with them as they continue to expand their services.

  

Job Duties:

¨      Track the flow of parts through the manufacturing shop from the raw material phase, to the manufacturing process, and onto the shipping dock. 

¨      Create daily status reports and communicate the results with the production companies throughout the day.

¨      Communicate potential shipping delays and corrective actions being taken to bring shipments back on line through e-mail and phone communications.

¨      Support manufacturing shops to expedite “On Time” part deliveries to major aerospace production companies.

Required Skills: • Five years experience working in the manufacturing industry. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products. • Proven communication skills • An aerospace background is a plus
